Crafting excellence in every bake
I started Flour Child the way many bakers do—with flour on my hands, a tired oven, and a big dream in a small kitchen. What began as a cottage bakery was never just about cookies or croissants—it was about connection. Baking was my way of caring for people, celebrating life’s sweetest moments, and creating something real in a world that often feels rushed and impersonal.
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—Army food service specialist, pastry chef, bakery manager, private chef, and business developer—but I’ve always been drawn back to the kitchen. Not just to create, but to teach. Watching someone gain confidence in the kitchen, seeing their eyes light up when they master a technique or pull off a cake they never thought they could—that’s magic to me.
Flour Child was born out of that spirit. It’s a bakery, yes—but also a classroom. Every pastry we serve, every class we teach, every custom order we fulfill is done with intention and heart.
My goal has always been to elevate the experience of dessert without losing the humble, handmade soul that started it all. Flour Child is for the dreamers, the learners, the lovers of butter and beauty. It’s for anyone who believes that a good dessert can do more than satisfy a craving—it can tell a story.
